Much Mirth at Mudrock Mines

The Mudrock Mines are just begging to be explored by a team of intrepid adventurers. No one has seen the miners for a long time now and rumors speak of strange music coming emanating from the tunnels. Are the mines haunted? Are they cursed? What you do know is that there are sure to be lots of riches in there as no one has dared enter that darkness yet.

Much Mirth at Mudrock Mines is a scenario for Old School Essentials meant for characters of level 2-4—though it can easily be converted to most old school fantasy game systems. It’s designed to be easy and fast to run, while still giving the feeling of exploring a large system of tunnels and having to deal with the encroaching darkness.

The scenario uses a modified version of the flux space rules, as presented by Nick L.S. Whelan (paperspencils.com), and an overloaded encounter die, as presented by Brandon at Necropraxis (necropraxis.com).
